CONDOLENCES: We regret to inform you of the passing of Allen Frenkel A'H, brother of our member Gail Lang. The Shiva is over because of the onset of Shavuot. Annual Graduation Kiddush and Graduate List:  We will be having our annual Kiddush in honor of our Graduates of any age, including Pre-School, Kindergarten, Elementary, Middle School, High School, College or University graduates on Shabbat Parshat Beha’alotcha, June 10th. The special cost for joining as a sponsor in honor of a graduate is $72. We are also compiling our annual list of graduates that will be circulated on June 9th. EARLY GROUPS TRIAL: We are pleased to announce the start of "early groups" at ECDP! We are in the middle of a four-week trial period to gauge demand for early-morning supervision during the first hour of davening. During this trial period, which will run through June 10, early groups will run from 9am-10am. This will be followed by regular groups, which run from 10am until the conclusion of davening. Early groups will be supervised by our outstanding Youth Director, Rafi Allman, and our dedicated youth leaders. Early groups is open to all children who are of age to attend regular groups. We can't wait to see you there!

SHABBAT MORNING YOUTH GROUPS: Regular groups will start at 10am and will conclude at the end of davening. As usual, anyone who comes to groups will receive tickets towards the next prize redemption raffle, happening on June 11th! Also as usual, any children who participate nicely in davening at groups will be eligible for our weekly raffle! As part of the new programs that we are phasing into groups, a few weeks ago we started to have kids prepare and deliver short divrei torah each week! Special thanks to Miri Greenberger & Eli Penn for giving beautiful divrei torah last week! If your children would like to be part of the dvar torah rotation (and rewarded handsomely with tickets), please email Rafi at youth@ecdp.info!

TZEDAKA FUND: A Charity Account has been created to provide for those who come to collect and other tzedakah needs. This fund will be overseen by Rabbi Greer and checks should be made out to Eitz Chayim Charity Account and can be given to Rabbi Greer or Josh Kupchik.

SHUL REMINDERS: Please do not bring any Strollers into the Shul. Strollers must remain outside all buildings. Please do not bring food into the new sanctuary. Please remember to make sure the doors are locked when you are the last or next to last person to leave the Shul. Thank you for your cooperation.

MEMO FROM THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE The Welcoming Committee welcomes new families to West Hempstead. Additionally, they arrange a Friday night dinner to be delivered to new families for their first Shabbat. We are looking for more volunteers that would be interested in offering to bring Shabbat food for a new family when they move in. The West Hempstead Food Bank is now making available cards which can be given to your Shabbat hosts and/or used for any other occasion. All proceeds from the sales of the cards, which indicate that a donation has been made to the Food Bank, will be used to purchase food.
