THE MARK KALMANOWITZ FRIDAY
NIGHT LEARNING PROGRAM: The learning will continue through the winter months until
we return the clock to daylight savings time on Purim, after parshat
Tetzaveh/Zachor. Every Friday night following maariv in
the Beit Medrash, a ten-minute dvar torah on the week's parsha is presented by
a different person. This week's dvar torah will be delivered by Dr. Zev Brandel.
There will be a Hashkama Minyan Kiddush this week.

CALLING ALL BABYSITTERS. ECDP Sisterhood
is once again updating our list of babysitters in the community. The list will
be distributed to our members and others in the community. If you would like to

MEMO FROM THE WELCOMING COMMITTEE The Welcoming
Committee welcomes new families to West Hempstead. Additionally, they arrange a
Friday night dinner to be delivered to new families for their first Shabbat. We
are looking for more volunteers that would be interested in offering to bring
Shabbat food for a new family when they move in. If you would be interested in
being asked to cook one or two dishes every 3-6 months (depending on how

HOURS: The Mikvah weekend hours are: Saturday night: 6 p.m. – 10:30 pm, Sunday: 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm. Motzei
Shabbat & Sunday: a community member is on duty till 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 pm
our regular attendant will come on duty. Check the MANC message for any changes
in the time. The Mikvah will open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
nights at 5:30 pm. Please check the
machine for new time as the zman changes. Please take advantage of these
